While we love collaborating with our wholesale partners, we reserve the right to revoke access to our website and wholesale platform if necessary, at our sole discretion. By placing a wholesale order with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Minimum Order Quantity
All wholesale orders are subject to a minimum order value. The current minimum wholesale order amount is R5000. Although we do not strictly enforce this as we strive for excellent customer relationships, we trust that our customers will honour this.
2. Order Processing and Production Time
Our typical production time is 2-3 weeks from the date the order is confirmed and payment is received. Although we strive to maintain sufficient stock of all components, some beads and materials are sourced internationally. In rare cases, this may result in a delay of up to 2 additional weeks for specific orders, especially if the materials are delayed in transit.
We will keep you informed of any delays that may affect your order. Please allow extra time for large or custom orders.
3. Stock Availability
Due to the handmade nature of our jewelry, stock levels may vary. While we aim to keep all items in stock, the availability of certain beads, gemstones, or other components may affect production times. If a specific component is unavailable, we will notify you immediately and offer alternatives or a revised delivery timeline.
4. Payment Terms
Full payment is required upon confirmation of your wholesale order unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept payments via EFT and Credit/Debit Card. Orders will not be processed until payment is received in full, unless otherwise discussed in writing.
5. Shipping and Delivery
- Shipping Costs: Shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer and will be added to your order total at checkout or invoicing.
- Delivery Times: Delivery times may vary depending on your location. Once your order is completed, we will provide you with an estimated delivery time and tracking information.
6. International Deliveries
For our valued international wholesale customers, we’re happy to ship our products worldwide! However, due to varying shipping costs and customs regulations, we kindly request that you select the “Pickup from Marzipan Studio” option during checkout when placing your international order.
Once your order is confirmed, please make a note in your order requesting an international delivery quote. We will then provide you with the most accurate shipping rates based on your location and preferred shipping method. Please note that any customs duties or import taxes are the responsibility of the buyer, so we recommend checking your country’s import regulations before placing an order.

7. Returns and Exchanges
- Damaged or Defective Items: If any items arrive damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order to arrange for a replacement or refund. We may request photos or proof of the damage.
- Non-Returnable Items: Due to the handmade nature of our products, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for non-damaged or non-defective items. Custom orders are also non-returnable unless faulty.
- Return Shipping: The customer is responsible for return shipping costs, except in cases where the item is defective.
8. Custom Orders
Custom orders are welcomed for wholesale clients, but they may require additional lead time depending on the design, materials, and complexity of the request. Any changes to the original order after production begins may incur additional costs and delay the final delivery date. We will provide an estimate of costs and timelines upon request for custom designs.
9. Intellectual Property
All designs, product images, and materials provided by Marzipan Jewellery are the intellectual property of Marzipan Jewellery and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without written permission.
10. Order Cancellations
Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of placement without penalty. After this time, cancellations may be subject to a cancellation fee depending on the status of production.
11. Lead Time for Large Orders
For large wholesale orders, additional production time may be required. We will provide an estimated timeline based on the size and complexity of your order at the time of confirmation.
12. Force Majeure
Marzipan Jewellery is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, such as natural disasters, shipping disruptions, or delays from our suppliers.
13. Communication
We aim to keep all our wholesale clients updated on their order status. Please ensure that your contact details are correct and up to date when placing your order.
14. Recommended Retail Price (RRP)
At Marzipan Jewellery, we recommend a 100% markup on all items sold through our wholesale program. This standard markup ensures a fair and consistent retail price across all sales channels and helps protect your business from direct competition with Marzipan Jewellery, as we also sell directly to the public. By adhering to this recommended pricing structure, we aim to foster a harmonious relationship with our wholesale partners, ensuring that everyone benefits from a sustainable and profitable business model.
15. Resell Pricing
While we recommend a 100% markup on our products, you are welcome to charge more for Marzipan Jewellery items, especially if your business offers value-added services such as styling, custom packaging or other enhancements that increase the value of the offering. However, please be aware that this is done at your own risk. Higher pricing may impact customer purchasing behavior and affect how competitive your offerings are within the marketplace.
